BOC is proud to announce that at the second annual Women in Industry Awards, two BOC employees, Nicolette Hinson, General Manager, Business Development & Strategy, Elgas, and Rosalinda Willcox, Marketing Communications Specialist, won the Business Development Manager of the Year and the Marketing/Communications award respectively.
In addition to the two winners BOC had a further three employees named
as finalists in their categories. Christine Katic, Zone Production Manager
CSCM, for Industry Advocacy, Kate Macfarlane, Product Manager for the Rising
Star Award and Vanessa Sewell-Rosenberg, Talent and Development Manager, for
Mentor of the Year.
Colin Isaac, Managing Director, BOC, was delighted with the announcement
of the winners and finalists. “I am so pleased that the amazing
work that these women do at BOC has been recognised and I congratulate them
on all their hard work and effort,” said Colin.
“BOC recognises the importance of supporting women in industry. The
incredible standard of the nominations and winners at the Women in Industry
Awards is a true testament to the need to ensure women are actively
encouraged and supported in developing their careers in industry.”
Women in Industry Awards recognises and rewards the achievements of
women working within the mining, engineering, and manufacturing industries,
and aims to raise the profile of women within industry, as well as promote
and encourage excellence.
