Many of Gustaf Dalén's innovations have become world-renowned and his revolutionary inventions in the lighthouse technology - the cutting apparatus and the solvent arrow - resulted in him being awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1912.
- The Dalén Museum in Stenstorp manages Gustaf Dalen’s and AGA's history in an excellent way. Together with the Dalenium Science Center, the facility is a historical and future-oriented unit that we believe can inspire engineering studies and technological innovations in the spirit of AGA and Gustaf Dalén”, says Olof Källgren, Head of Sales & Marketing, Region Europe North - AGA.
The Dalén Museum is a modern experience museum where Gustaf Dalén's life is portrayed and where you can also see the results of his many inventions such as the AGA car and the AGA stove, film projectors, radio, and TV sets, incubators, measuring equipment, heart-lung machine, etc. - and the visitor also gets a historical overview of AGA's 115-year history.
"We are looking forward to this great anniversary year when we not only celebrate Gustaf Dalén 150 years but also the AGA car 100 years and the AGA stove 90 years," says Mikael Hildingsson, chairman of the Gustaf Dalén Society.
