Safety in Linde
The safety of Linde employees and customers hinges on proactive practices. We are committed to our HSE policy: health, safety and care for the environment are foundational principles of our business! Our goal is zero incidents and injuries – and not just within our company. We also actively support our partners and customers in achieving this goal. We uphold Linde’s global standards internally and across our value chain. We maintain due diligence processes to reduce potential risks from compliance or environmental violations in prospective acquisitions and joint ventures. A member of Linde’s Management Committee is the senior executive responsible for this area.
All gases have inherent hazards. Even oxygen and nitrogen, which we breathe every day, can be problematic if not properly handled. If you deal with gases, it is essential that you identify and understand all potential hazards. The safety of your employees hinges on proactive practices. We extend our zero-incidents mission beyond Linde by supporting you with in-depth information and practical guidelines on the safe handling of our products. We have systems and routines in place for both environmental and energy management, based on the principles of the ISO standards, supporting continuous improvements.
Gas safety
We at Linde ensure that all gas operations meet the highest international safety standards and best practices of safety, health, environment and quality and therefore offer a range of safety services based on our in-depth understanding of legislation and international standards, such as safety trainings, site safety audits, technical process reviews and risk assessments.
Our gas cylinders are designed and manufactured in accordance with European standard EN 1089-3 standard making it possible to identify gas features from the cover. By rending the cylinders from us we ensure the regulations being met.
