In cylinder form, BOC supplies atmospheric gases such as oxygen, argon, nitrogen; fuel gases including dissolved acetylene and propane; and other gases such as hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide. Cylinders are the ideal means of supply for smaller volumes of gas, offering flexibility of demand.

Fuel Gases

Fuel gases are a range of products based on hydrogen and hydrocarbon molecules that are burned normally with an oxidant to produce thermal energy.

LPG

LPG is used for recreational purposes like barbecues, caravans and camping stoves, for residential applications including heating, hot water and cooking and for commercial and industrial uses such as a fuel for forklifts.

Welding Gases

The primary function of a shielding gas is to protect the molten weld metal from the atmosphere. In addition it can change specific parameters such as welding speed, metallurgical and mechanical properties, surface appearance and weld geometry.

Laser Gases

Laser gases play a fundamental role in laser material processing. Lasers provide an intense energy source which is ideally suited to a wide range of fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, drilling and marking metal and other materials.

Air Gases

These gases are used for brazing, hard soldering and have alternative applications for compressors and plasma cutting.

Hospitality Gases

BOC’s hospitality gases include a wide range of beverage dispensing gases as well as food grade quality gases, preservatives for wine and pH correction in pools.

Scientific Gases

Gas mixtures are unique to application and industry requirements. A wide range of calibration gas mixtures from binary to multi-component requirements are used to ensure optimal calibration and correct operation in a variety of analytical equipment. BOC also offers a range of high purity gases.

Refrigerant Gases

Refrigeration is prevalent in our everyday life. Our food is chilled, frozen, stored, transported and displayed in refrigeration units using refrigerant gas. Our cars, homes, offices, buildings and shops are kept cool by air conditioning systems which rely on refrigerant gas.

Helium

BOC offers helium product in both compressed and liquid forms to serve a wide range of applications in healthcare, research, offshore diving, manufacturing and the inflation of balloons.

Fumigants

Fumigation is a method of pest control that completely fills an area with gaseous pesticides—or fumigants—to suffocate or poison the pests within. It is utilized for control of pests in buildings (structural fumigation), soil, grain and produce. It is also used during processing of goods to be imported or exported to prevent transfer of exotic organisms.
